MYE (pronounced ‘my’) stands for ‘My Yoga Experience’—because movement is personal.

At MYE Studio, we honour that everyone experiences movement differently. Our team supports your unique journey by understanding your history, goals, and interests. Whether you’re here to build strength, find balance, or simply move with intention, we empower you to take ownership of your body, your movement, and your experience.

We are more than just a yoga studio. We offer multiple complementary movement modalities so you can develop your mobility, core strength, physical power, myofascial release, and give your parasympathetic nervous system a treat, too.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

MYE Centre

This grounding Hatha yoga class invites you to find balance, strength, and focus through a series of static postures. Guided by your instructor, you’ll move through a gentle warm-up, a standing series, and a supine series, all designed to activate your parasympathetic nervous system for deep relaxation. Each pose is held for 15 seconds to one minute, allowing you to build stamina and mind-body awareness. This steady, meditative practice helps you reset and recenter.

MYE Flow

Move with intention in this dynamic, breath-centered practice that seamlessly links movement with breath. This fluid sequence builds focus, strength, and balance, while helping to settle the mind into a calm, meditative state. The instructor will offer variations and modifications, making the practice accessible to different levels while allowing for personal exploration. When the sun sets, the class is illuminated by candlelight, creating a serene and grounding atmosphere.

MYE Stillness in Candlelight

Immerse yourself in deep relaxation with this candlelit yin yoga class. Using the principles of yin yoga, you will settle into 5–7 postures, holding each for 3–6 minutes in mostly supine positions. This extended stillness allows the fascia to gently release, promoting flexibility and deep restoration. Accompanied by soft candlelight and soothing music, this class is the perfect way to unwind in the evening and complement your other yoga practices.

MYE Pilates

This mat-based Pilates class focuses on breath, alignment, and controlled movement to build core strength, stability, and flexibility. Through precise, low-impact exercises, you will engage deep muscle groups while improving posture and mobility. Resistance bands and other equipment may be incorporated to enhance intensity and variety, with modifications available for all levels. This mindful, strengthening practice will leave you feeling longer, stronger, and more centered. It is the perfect complement to your wellness routine.

MYE Barre

This low-impact, high-repetition class is designed to build lean muscle, enhance flexibility, and improve posture. Guided by your instructor, you’ll move through a series of targeted exercises that sculpt and strengthen your body with precision. Light weights, resistance bands, and blocks may be incorporated to add variety and challenge. Whether you’re looking to tone, refine, or simply switch up your routine, this energetic class offers a fun and engaging way to complement your weekly practice.

MYE-ofascial Rollout

This 30-minute class helps enhance mobility, reduce stress, transform pain, and build body awareness. In just half an hour, you’ll release tension, reclaim ease and recharge your body using the Yoga Tune Up Balls (R) and the Roll Model Method (TM).

MYE Strength

Build strength that supports you in everyday life. This functional, movement-based class focuses on compound exercises and the mind–muscle connection. With an emphasis on proper form and resistance training, you’ll ignite your core, improve balance and mobility, and work toward increasing both muscle mass and bone density. Designed for all levels, MYE Strength offers a supportive group setting to help you feel strong, capable, and confident.

MYE KID MOVES PROGRAM

Ages 6-9

This fun and dynamic functional movement is designed to help kids develop strength, balance, coordination, and body control through engaging challenges and games, no heavy lifting required.

Through fun circuits, agility drills, partner games, and mobility-based challenges, participants will learn how to move efficiently and confidently across a variety of sports and daily activities.

Each class blends physical challenge and mental focus, helping to boost cognitive function, reaction time, and motor skills while improving flexibility and body awareness.

Breathe Together, Heal Together

During a group breathwork session, participants can harness the power of their own innate healing capacity through cutting edge breathing techniques that access deeper amounts of life force energy, helping them to connect to themselves emotionally, physically, and spiritually.

Participants will be guided on an insightful journey that will open them up to shifts in consciousness. The practice is done using resources and tools to release emotions/trauma that have been stored in the body. The results are meditative states of deep peace, energized enthusiasm for life and an opening to the mystical realms of consciousness.

The breathwork session will be led by Lindsay Gorges, Breathwork Facilitator and Somatic Practitioner at Ojas Breathwork & Holistic Healing.

Roll & Rest: A Guided Myofascial & Yin Retreat

This curated 2-hour experience blends myofascial release techniques and Yin Yoga to help you unwind the tension of the year from your body, your breath, and your nervous system. Through slow, deliberate movement and somatic release, you’ll soften the edges of the year and create space for whatever comes next.

Yoga Exploration Workshop

Ever had a question about a yoga pose? Curious about how different bodies move through the same shape?

This 1.5 hour yoga exploration is a relaxed, open-floor experience led by Bri & Nicole. You’ll be guided through a variety of familiar poses while exploring different expressions, options, and sensations, learning how to adapt each shape to support your body.

This workshop is less about doing yoga “right” and more about doing the yoga that is right for you. Come discover what feels supportive, accesssible, and sustainable.

Hands-on assists may be offered with consent.

No yoga experience is necessary.

I am passionate about creating an inclusive and welcoming space where everyone can explore movement in a way that feels right for them. Yoga is for every body, and the depth of a pose is less important than how it feels in your body. Rather than striving for perfection, yoga is about moving with intention and mindfulness, embracing the journey as it unfolds.

At MYE Studio, I love getting to know each person’s experiences and goals, helping them find the classes and instructors that best support their journey. Whether you’re here to build strength, improve flexibility, or cultivate stillness, I’m here to help you discover your own movement—with confidence, curiosity, and self-awareness.

Lana has always had a deep passion for movement, discovering early on that it was one of the most powerful tools for managing her ADHD and supporting her mental health. With a strong background in rehab and years of experience educating and training Pilates teachers. She’s passionate about helping clients build strength from the inside out, focusing not just on physical movement, but on creating safety, resilience, and confidence in the body. Her mission is to make people feel seen, supported, and empowered in their healing journey through movement.

Cass S. Barre Instructor

Born and raised in Kelowna, Cass comes from a background in competitive dance, with extensive training in ballet and various other styles. Her passion for movement extends beyond technique. She loves helping others build confidence, break out of their shell, and discover joy in movement.

Cass loves guiding people to move in a way that feels natural and empowering. She completed her barre training through Barreroom in Kelowna and is thrilled to bring her energy and expertise to MYE Studio .

Bri H. Yoga Instructor

Bri moved to Kelowna with her family in 2022 after living in Guatemala for almost 20 years. She and her husband managed a mountain lodge and yoga studio where she completed her 200 YTT with Kula Collective in early 2020.

As a yoga teacher, Bri values providing a space where students of all levels can practice with comfort and non-judgment. She believes that yoga is so much more than flexibility and that if you can breathe, you can practice yoga.

Betty found yoga when she needed it most and it ignited a personal passion within her that burns brightly to this day. She wanted to be a light in this world that shone brightly on the path of positivity, personal potential, and inner peace.

Through the support of her family, Betty  pursued her certification to teach yoga with a particular focus on Viniyoga. She teaches  group classes, individual one-on-one, as well as corporate classes.

Her greatest thrill as an instructor is when her students share their personal journeys of physical, mental, and spiritual betterment. She feels blessed to have found her calling as a yogi in balance with mother, wife, friend, and citizen.

Jenn is a Kelowna-based Health and Fitness Coach, Personal Trainer, and passionate Group Fitness Instructor specializing in strength focused training. She believes movement is medicine and that it’s never too late or too early to start your wellness journey. Her coaching style is approachable yet motivating; she loves to challenge her classes while still making them accessible for all levels. Expect themed playlists, intentional programming, and a reminder that you’re stronger than you think. Whether it’s through strength training or mobility work, she’ll meet you where you’re at and help you push a little further each time.

Born and raised in the Bahamas, AJ Delancy brings his island roots and energetic spirit into every session. As a Sports Performance Coach, he specializes in helping kids, teens, and families build strength, mobility, and confidence through fun, functional training. AJ believes fitness should be something you enjoy, not endure. He blends play, performance, and progress into every workout. His goal is simple: to help every athlete, big or small, move better, feel stronger, and have a great time doing it.

WHAT IF I AM NEW TO YOGA?

At MYE Studio, we welcome everyone—no experience needed!

Our MYE Essence class is the perfect place to start. Designed for beginners and those looking to build a strong foundation, this class focuses on core yoga principles with extra guidance on each pose. You’ll have time to develop confidence in movement, alignment, and breath, all in a supportive and welcoming environment.

HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR CLASSES?

All class bookings, payments, and memberships are managed through the MYE Studio App available on the App Store and Google Play.

WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE FOR CLASS?

Please arrive 10–15 minutes before class starts to check in, settle in, and prepare for your practice.

Doors will be locked as class begins and will remain locked for the duration. All sessions start and end promptly. Arriving early ensures you can fully enjoy your experience without disruption.

HOW DO I CANCEL A CLASS?

All class cancellations are managed through the MYE Studio App, available on the App Store and Google Play.

Class cancellations must be made at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time to avoid fees.

MYE Monthly Unlimited Cancellation Fees:

  • No-show: $10
  • Late cancellation (less than 2 hours’ notice): $10

MYE 1 & MYE 10 Cancellation Fees:

  • No-show: Class is forfeited
  • Late cancellation (less than 30 minutes’ notice): Class is forfeited

While we have a cancellation policy in place, we understand that unexpected situations can arise. If you find yourself in a difficult spot, please reach out, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

WHERE DO I PUT MY STUFF?

We offer small lockers for your convenience, and locks are provided for use during your visit.

We recommend keeping unnecessary or valuable items at home, as MYE Studio is not responsible for lost or stolen belongings.

CAN I BRING MY PHONE INTO CLASS?

For a distraction-free experience, please turn off or silence your phone before class and store it in your locker for the duration of your session.

Being fully present benefits both you and those around you—thank you for respecting the space!

IS TALKING ALLOWED IN THE PRACTICE ROOM BEFORE CLASS?

To create a calm and mindful atmosphere, we ask that the practice room remain quiet before all yoga classes. This allows students to settle in, center themselves, and prepare for their practice.

For pilates, barre, fusion and functional movement classes, quiet conversation is welcome before class begins.

HOW MANY STUDENTS FIT IN THE PRACTICE ROOM?

The practice space supports 39 students and 1 instructor.

CAN I WEAR PERFUME?

While we know you love your signature scent, kindly refrain from wearing perfumes or heavily scented lotions to class. Some of our instructors (and members) are highly sensitive and some are allergic. When we sweat those scents become a little more intense, so we appreciate you keeping the perfume for Saturday night out! (However, we do highly encourage the use of deoderant, which we keep behind the desk in case you forgot yours at home or need a touch up)!

IS THERE FREE PARKING?

Yes! There is plenty of free parking is available throughout the plaza, plus city parking right in front of the studio for easy access.

DO YOU PROVIDE PROPS AND EQUIPMENT?

Yes! We provide mats, blocks, straps, and bolsters for every student to support your practice.

Please wipe down any props after use and return them to their place so they’re fresh and ready for the next student.

DO YOU OFFER HOT YOGA?

At MYE Studio, we’ve intentionally chosen not to offer heated classes. Instead, we keep our space at a warm, comfortable temperature, ensuring an experience that’s accessible and welcoming to all.

DO YOU OFFER CORPORATE PACKAGES?

Yes! We offer exclusive corporate yoga, barre, or Pilates sessions designed to enhance team wellness, reduce stress, and boost productivity.

DO YOU SELL RETAIL ITEMS?

Yes! We offer a curated selection of yoga mats, props, apparel, and wellness essentials to support your practice. Many of these items are sourced from locally owned companies in the Okanagan or Canada. Stop by the studio to browse our collection or ask a team member for recommendations!

All payments are made through the MYE Studio App available on the App Store and Google Play.

CAN I BRING A GLASS WATER BOTTLE?

For safety reasons, please avoid bringing glass water bottles or other fragile items into the studio. If broken, they pose a hazard to those practicing barefoot.

We recommend using shatterproof or reusable bottles to keep the space safe for everyone.

CAN I REFILL MY WATER BOTTLE AT THE STUDIO?

Yes! MYE Studio has a water refilling station where you can easily refill your reusable bottle before or after class.

DO YOU HAVE SHOWERS?

Yes! We have three showers available for your convenience.

Shampoo and soap are provided, but please bring your own towel, as we do not offer towel service.

IS THERE MUSIC?

Yes! All classes have music and MYE Studio pays all music licensing fees through Entandem to SOCAN and RE:SOUND.

WHAT IF I NEED TO LEAVE EARLY?

We ask that all students stay for the duration of their class. If you are feeling unwell and need to step out, please advise the instructor so they can ensure your safety and that of those around you.
